Open Door is aprogram of South Hayward United Methedist Church for women who desireto improve themselves in theUnited States.  This program helps them to learn English as aSecond Language, arts and crafts, and the computer skillsthat enable them to find jobs in the future.

The program has nursery care for the students' peace of mind.

The program is designed to maintain a peaceful and respectful workingenvironment.  Thestudents receive individual attention to help them understand the classmaterial.  The goal is for each student to draw on real lifelessons learnedin class that will help them after the class is over.

The ESL and computer classes are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from9:30 am to 11:30 am.  Arts & crafts are on Tuesdays at 9 am.
